In what will likely become a regular feature on the podcast, this week I am resurrecting an old episode that has fallen off the feed (Itunes and most podcatchers will only allow 100 episodes to be in a podcast feed, so if you have more than 100 episodes - anything past the latest 100 is not accessible). So for the first of what will be called "JTD Classic", I have chosen to highlight Stephanie Crawford's first appearance on the podcast from a few years back. Stephanie has become an integral part of the show and so it seemed appropriate to bring back my first chat with her about HELL NIGHT and RAPPIN'. Enjoy!

As is an Annual tradition here at Just the Discs, this week's episode is a roundup of some of Brian and Stephanie Crawford's favorite Blu-rays of 2020. Remember these are "favorites" and not "best" though there may be some crossover there. Discussed are many discs from many different labels. Enjoy!

Brendon Small returns and he and Brian begin a new series called "Cannon: Cream of the Crop" where they talk about some of the best films that Cannon films made in their long run producing through the 70s, 80s and 90s. This episode covers Albert Pyun's DANGEROUSLY CLOSE and John Frankenheimer's 52 PICKUP. If you'd like to learn more about Cannon Films, check out the Cannon Film Guide: Volume 1 (1980-1984) by Austin Trunick (as mentioned towards the end of the episode).
